Welcome to Denver

A part of Colorado where city life meets outdoor adventure
Denver is the capital of Colorado and is known as “The Mile High City” since its elevation is exactly one mile above sea level. It is the most populated city in the state and has tons to offer its residents, from arts, sports, food, and more.
Denver was originally founded in 1858 as a gold mining town, and the city became a travel hub in the early twentieth century. After World War II, oil and gas companies flocked there, causing it to go from a small urban area surrounded by farms to a major city with a booming downtown.
