Patio season is finally here!

Coloradans sure do enjoy winter, but there is no beating a sunny day on one of Denver’s best patios with a cold drink in hand and nibbling on some local, fresh food. From casual to upscale, happy hour to crafty eats, fine dining and more, we put together our list of the best patios and rooftops in Denver.

Plus, we included a few bonus spots…

First up on our list is Ace Eat Serve in Uptown. This hot spot is a great place to park on the patio and enjoy great food while soaking up the Colorado sunshine. Korean fried wings, Japanese pancakes, and Peking Duck are just a few favorite menu items. Not only is the outdoor space awesome, you can head inside for some ping pong and shuffle board.

Forest Room 5 in LoHi is known for it’s rustic atmosphere and treehouse vibes…plus the great menu! Here you’ll feel like you’re out in nature right in the heart of the city. Gather round one of the firepits for happy hour every weekday from 4-6 PM for shared plates and tasty handcrafted cocktails.

Channel your inner child at Improper City located in RiNo. Whether you’re looking for that morning cup of joe, or an after work pick me up, this place has something for everyone. Did we mention it’s basically a giant outdoor playground for adults? Yep. With food trucks, yard games, firepits and live music…you’ll find it hard not to have fun here. BONUS: If you’re looking for a similar atmosphere in Boulder, check out The Rayback.

Bezel in the 16th Street Mall is a super chic, super cute, spot located in the Sheraton Downtown. Here they serve up mocktails, cocktails, small bites, and cozy vibes! Try one of the creatively named cocktails like the Tally Me Banana, the Dapper Don, or the Ambrosia Smoke Signal.

The highest rooftop bar in Denver, and named after it’s elevation at 5,430 feet, is 54thirty. This popular seasonal spot has sweeping views of the city and mountains, live music, firepits, and a crafty menu featuring globally inspired eats and hand-made cocktails. No reservations here, so you may run into a bit of wait, but trust us…it’s worth it.

Last up on our list, Avanti Food & Beverage in LoHi, is a local favorite for sure! With multiple levels and outdoor spaces, an indoor food court, and a stocked bar with options for everyone, this is the perfect spot to post up after a long hike or outdoor adventure. It’s great for a night out, too! BONUS: There’s now a second Avanti location in Boulder, right on Pearl Street, with amazing rooftop views of the Flatirons!

A few more we just have to mention include Tamayo in Larimer Square where you need to try a fresh fruit margarita, The Woods at The Source Hotel in RiNo to catch the best sunsets, and Forget Me Not in Cherry Creek for some post shopping refreshments.

There are so many great restaurants in the Front Range you can’t go wrong no matter where you decided to go.

What’s your favorite Denver patio? We would love to check it out!
